Training
The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) is the United Kingdom national authority for sailing and power boating.
Aldeburgh Yacht Club is a Recognized RYA Training Establishment.
The Principal is the Secretary and the Chief Instructor is Sarah Davies.
The club offers a wide range of courses for both adults and the young, ranging from basic dinghy sailing to Yachtmaster training.
There is also a full scheme of training for those who wish to drive safety boats – and upon whose work the club will increasingly rely.
